Dr. Gopal Ji

Dr. Gopal Ji is a renowned exponent of Yoga, who started his yoga journey at the tender age of 4 years from his father Yogacharya Dhyandhar Ji Maharaj who was the founder member of CCRYN, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
Dr. Gopal Ji has lot of clinical research projects to his credit particularly Role of Yoga in the Management of IBS & Duodenal Ulcer during his tenure as Research Officer (Yoga) in G.B. Pant Hospital, New Delhi from 1980 – 1985.
He is a national gymnastics champion, a trained classical Kathak dancer, and had served for more than 23 years as leader and advisor of the largest youth network of the world, NSS, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India.
During his long journey of 60 years in Yoga, he has given valuable contribution to the society as well as to Government of India in varied capacities. He was instrumental in developing Yogasana as a Competitive Sports in Iran, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia and now in India.
As an Expert Committee Members of NIOS, Ministry of Education, different Universities of the country and other organisations, he has given his valuable contribution to design & develop different job oriented Yoga Courses.
At present, he is the President of Global Yog Alliance; National Chairman of NISHTHA : An NGO for the Youth – By the Youth and working as Guest Faculty in Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi.
