Colonel (Dr) Ashwani Kumar

A distinguished veteran, and dedicated intelligence officer with a wealth of experience. Served in pivotal roles within Military Intelligence, Cabinet Secretariat, and Police, he has undertaken challenging assignments both in India and abroad. As a Commanding Officer, he led numerous counter and acquisition intelligence units in the Indian Army.
His illustrious career includes significant roles such as Joint Deputy Director in the Cabinet Secretariat, Deputy Director in PMO, DIPAC, and Principal Scientific Officer in the Bureau of Police Research and Development, MHA. Notably, he also served as a Senior Instructor and HOD at the Military Intelligence Training School in Pune and Cabinet Secretariat Training Institute.
Lieutenant Colonel Ashwani Kumar has been honored with prestigious accolades, including the Vishisht Seva Medal and a Gallantry Award bestowed by the President of India. A recipient of a total of 15 awards during his service, his contributions to national security have been exemplary.
Presently, he continues to serve with distinction in the Private Sector as the Chief Vigilance Officer of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir, stationed in Delhi. His unwavering commitment to the country as a brave soldier is evident in his remarkable service and achievements throughout his illustrious career.
